Limpopo-Lipadi Wildlife and Wilderness Reserve and Motse Community and Wildlife Conservation Foundation

Limpopo-Lipadi Reserve is the custodian of a unique and biodiverse landscape, marked by distinctive topography and abundant bushveld savanna flora and fauna in Botswana’s Tuli Block. Over 300 bird species and many iconic Southern African wildlife species inhabit the reserve, including endangered and threatened species such as elephant, leopard, lion, southern white rhinoceros, African wild dog, and brown hyena.

The Reserve emphasizes engaging local communities through employment and initiatives supported by the Motse Community and Wildlife Conservation Foundation—a Botswana-registered NGO working in conservation, education and healthcare. WildAssist Africa is proud to be associated with this important initiative and looks forward to continuing the collaboration through our nearly twenty year relationship with the reserve and its conservation and community programs.

Deception Valley

Kalahari Research and Conservation (KRC) and Raptors Botswana

Raptors Botswana is a “sister group” dedicated to vulture conservation in Botswana. With all vulture species in Botswana either critically endangered or endangered, the increase in poisoning incidents and other threats underscores the importance of collaboration between Raptors Botswana, conservation NGOs, land users, and the government to mitigate these threats and ensure vulture populations thrive.

WildAssist Africa is proud to support KRC and Raptors Botswana in protecting this unique Southern African landscape and helping ensure vultures remain a vital part of African ecosystems, maintaining their role as nature’s “clean-up crew.”
