Spay and Vaccinate Campaign

It is happening!!!! March 19th- March 26th, 2026. SECURING THE BOUNDARIES WITH HEALTHY PETS

Turn a trip into a meaningful adventure by joining WildAssist Africa’s “Securing the Boundaries with Healthy Pets” project in Botswana this March!

We are seeking qualified veterinarians and veterinary nurses/technicians to assist with a surgical sterilization/vaccination campaign for community dogs and cats in two local communities bordering the Limpopo-Lipadi Wildlife and Wilderness Reserve. Following ‘One Health’ principles, this project will directly improve the health and safety of not only the patients and their caregivers, but also the local wildlife that are susceptible and vulnerable to disease spill-over.

In return for lending their expertise and valuable time, participants will have meals and accommodation covered while staying within the wilderness reserve for the duration of the project. Game drives within the wildlife park are also covered (yes, you read that correctly!) and provide plenty of opportunity to experience the wildlife you are helping to protect- including elephants, giraffe, lions, leopards, African wild dogs and rhinos.
